World Thinking Day 2010

Guests and staff enjoyed the special experience of spending World Thinking Day at a WAGGGS World Centre. They skied the surrounding mountains by day, and participated in a WAGGGS wide game and candlelight ceremony in the snow by night.
The WAGGGS wide game focussed on poverty, hunger and food issues. Participants shared thoughts and words as candles were lit to form a trefoil in the snow. Promises were renewed in many languages and the ceremony concluded with the World Song and Taps on a moonlit evening in front of Our Chalet.
