Some of the Brownies at 1st Llandovery Brownies spent Thinking day on the radio with the great help of Nigel Cole and Hyden Harrison from local Scout groups and had a brilliant time speaking to girls around britain, Ireland and some other countries. Happy thinking day from Wales

USA Troop 30213 helped celebrate World Thinking Day with 145 Girl Scouts in their service unit. They chose for their Bronze Award as Junior Girl Scouts to host Thinking Day and teach their peers about the Girl Guides of Swaziland, Africa, learning so much in the process. They taught them about the differences between rural and urban lifestyles, food, girl guide customs, crafts, and raised $250 for the Girl Guides of Swaziland! "Together we can end extreme poverty and hunger!"

Greetings from PA in the United States! Our Brownie Troop is celebrating with a ceremony and fund raising for Haiti. Our thoughts on this Thinking Day lead us to our sisters around the world who are struggling to live and our extreme hopes and wishes are that one day they are able to find peace, love and security.

To all my sister Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world - Happy Thinking Day 2010!

Dandenong Valley Region Girl Guides in Victoria, Australia, spent Thinking Day learning about other countries around the world. We learnt about Haiti in particular, and our thoughts are with all the Guides and their families effected by the earthquake. Even the smallest Guide in our group (5 years old) could imagine how scared they would have been if they had experienced the earthquake themselves. Our older Guides could appreciate the difficulty faced by aid organisations in getting the aid delivered to the right places and to those in need.

I would also like to commend the Guides and Scouts of France and Mexico and others who have been so activly helping the Haitians. BRAVO!

Together we can make the world a better place.

With best wishes,
Bridget
